Ciggie prices in Germany?

What's a typical high street price for a carton of Marlboro in Germany? Can they be bought at a supermarket or is it tobacco kiosk only? Ta

They are soso cheap compared to the UK -Germany is a smokers paradise!!

I have just been to the supermarket to check it out for you...

A pack of 17 f**s/cigarettes will cost 4€ - this includes the 100's or normal size

or

you can buy a tub with 175g for roll-ups for - 17,95€

39€ for a carton

They can be bought on the street - in machines, in supermarkets, and also tobacco shops!!

Other brands are alot chepaer.

They can be purchased at supermarkets, gas stations, and kiosks.  They generally run about 40 Euro for a carton, 10 packs in a carton, 19 cigs in a pack.

If you buy cigs at a machine, you must have a valid EU ID card (German drivers license works) to insert into the machine.  A pack costs 4 Euro and there are 17 in a pack from a machine.

Always seemed strange to me that the pack cost is the same at a machine or from a store, but you get 2 less cigs when you buy from a machine.
