Ms McCain is heir to the largest distributor of Anheiser- Busch, which is in the process of a buy-out by a Belguim iBev----- so will she benefit or suffer from this? And since this may mean more profits for another company outside this country, and potential loss of jobs for Americans-- how will this all benefit America, and what does it say about the McCains' concern for America's working class.

  1. This could be a real eye-opener for McCain.  I was sorry to hear that Anheiser gave in.

  2. The deal hasn't been approved yet.  But from the article I could find on the subject, it mentions that Anheuser Busch were already planning on many cost cutting moves, which include cutting pension and health benefits to salaried workers, and offering early retirement to 1300 salaried workers age 55 and up.  InBev hasn't said if there will be layoffs as a result of the pending merger.

  3. mccain has NO concern whatsoever for the middle class ... just look at his tax policy and opposition (then support) for the Bush tax cuts
