  3. Yes, they are too high. Exorbitant when a family goes. Little wonder the cinemas complain of decreasing sales. The price of the sweets and popcorn is also too high. What a rip off.

  4. at the cineword in Boldon, newcastle upon tyne its 6.50.

(free for me cos i use my friends orange wednesdays :P)

I never buy food or ice cream. i o to maccy d's over the road.

  5. i agree with you

food & drinks in cinemas are so over the top no wonder you tried too sneak food in did you get found out?

  6. Given that you are in London, yes they are pointlessly high compared to the rest of the country. The food is where the cinemas actually make most money.

  7. It depends on which cinema and how meny screens it has.

The Multi-Screens (5 + screens) in my area charge £7.  But my local cinema - which is part of a well known group - (3 screens) charges £4 for an adult.
