Cinque Terre from Rome or Florence?

My fiancee and I are are heading to Italy for our Honeymoon later this year. We are spending two weeks there, flying into Rome and then going to Florence and Venice (flying out of Venice). We want to spend one night in Cinque Terre. I know it's out of the way so does it make more sense to take the train to Cinque Terre from Rome and then go to Florence, or is it better to go from Florence to Cinque Terre to Venice?
