  1. Cinque terre is better because is sea side place.

  2. Hi I think is a really nice choice Cinque Terre, is amazing and I think is better in August instead of a big city like Rome or Florence. Anyway if you are gonna choice for a city I suggest you Florence in that period.

  3. Rome is a must see, however Cinque Terre is nice in August.  You must must must book in advance or you will not have a place to stay in Cinque Terre in August.  I've seen many stranded tourists who thought they could just show up with a backpack (many people hike the trail to all five towns by the seaside) and find a place with no luck.

  4. cinque terra in august is great , good temps , good hiking , great fresh food. i would reccommend hotel la spiaggia in monterosso , owner andrea  will have a meal plan option that is fantastic and his food is great.

  5. you can visite the web-site www.ilrosone.com

  6. Cinque Terre is nice and all, but I hope you aren't planning to skip on Florence or Rome for Cinque Terre. If you are just trying to time out your visit to Italian cities then I'd go to C. T. in August. Also, there is a lot of hiking in C.T. even though it is by the water.

  7. All of the places will be crowded but Cinque Terre would definitely be the best climate wise. It will not be as hot and sticky nor as polluted as Rome and Florence both of which have a terrible problem with pollution.  If you are going to the Cinque Terre then perhaps stay in Levanto - it is the ideal base from which to visit the five towns of the Cinque Terre and less expensive with some great restaurants and a decent beach.

  8. Cinque Terre is nice because it's on the sea, so there is usually a nice breeze and you can go swimming in the sea. It's the busiest season for them.  The cities have some tourists, a lot of the shops that don't cater to tourists may close, at least in Florence.  The monuments and museums are open.

  9. certo!! alle cinque terre c'è anche il mare!!!!
