So reading rugby news today, it turns out Cipriani was cut from the England team due to a curfew infraction.

Do you think this is harsh?

What do you think it will do to his career?

  1. How is it harsh?

He knew the rules, he broke them.

At least for his sake he wasn't caught shagging a bloke this time and just had a few shandys

  2. Well, if there was rule imposed that he was not allowed to frequent nightclubs or had to be in by a certain time etc, then that rule was broken, so, no, I do think it was harsh.

He was given a chance to prove himself after the Italian game, that  he fecked up in and if this is his way of showing gratitude, then he clearly is not ready for an international career!

His club have hit out as his punishment being harsh, maybe they should look at their rules and address the way their player acted.

I think his club career will be fine but unless Ashton is desperate in the near future, I doubt he will be selected for the rest of the season!

For the record, I agree with you, he deserves all he gets!!!!!!!!

EDIT! By all accounts he was only there for 10 minutes dropping off tickets, what I would like to know on hearing this is, did Ashton speak to him about the incident and get all the facts before dropping him????????

    Mmmmmmmmmmm!

  3. I guess not..if he knew about the curfew he shouldnt have gone

    pretty simple

lack of discipline on the field and off for england

  4. Daffyd James made the same error and was never picked again by steve hanson (for four years)...

This resulted in his International career being over at the top of his game...

    Now thats "harsh".

Missing a game is a slap on the wrist...considering his international career - so far - has comprised of him "gifting Italy a try"...

I don't understand how he or his supporters have the sort of opinion  - that allows them to think cipriani should be allowed to get away with anything?
