Ciprobay 500 mg and nausea

Question

I am taking Ciprobay 500 mg. I have been taking it for a week. Yesterday I had nausea and vomited. Could it be a side effect of the medication? If it was a side effect, whouldnt it have happened earlier and not after 7 days from starting the medication?
