Circular Needles?

Question

I was wondering if I could use circular needles with a 20" cable when the pattern calls for a 16" cable. The pattern is for a hat. Here's a link to it: http://www.adorabubbleknits.com/pages/sunhat.php

You could make it work.  It might be  a slower knit unless you are modifying the size.  I have used safety pins to hold stitches in fair isle patterns.lol

You can do it.  If you have too much cable on the needles, then cast on the sts.  If you can't join it then in the middle of the cast on pull up a loop of the cable between two sts.
