  1. It is not very common.  It depends where you are.  I am living here in America and I believe the stats are 50-50 (half Indians get circumsized-half don't).  My dad decided to get me circumsized b/c doctors convinced him (glad that he did b/c I feel it is more hygenic, even though down the road I might have trouble getting an Indian wife b/c I think she'll be use to more of the uncircumsized type).

I know in Indian it's almost 90-100% most Indian males are NOT circumsized  in India.  I've had a few American friends who came to the states when they were like 7 or 8, and both of them were uncircumsized (so their gfs told me).

I think ultimately it is going to depend on whether you value hygeine (cicumsize) or tradition (uncircumsize).  Right now in my life I value hygeine more and I am not very religious/traditional.  Maybe down the road this is going to haunt me if I try to seek a traditional Indian wife, i dunno..we'll see.

  2. It's not part of the religion. I know it's not done normally in India. Probably some Hindus in the USA do it but I would say that's all.

Also, the above answer who says circumcision is more hygienic is completely wrong. It's not nothing to do with hygiene. All guys need to wash down there, f******n or not.

  3. In Hindu religion circumcision is not a custom, but under the medical advise in individual cases some of them undergo,  this has nothing to do with religion

  4. Not a single one,

  5. I'm circumcized...I haven't really seen any other Indian guys' penises so I can't comment generally.
