Circumcision question?

My son is 10 days old and we had him circumcised when he was 2 days old. Well since yesterday the little plastibell thing has started to come off and then early this morning its just hanging by a thread really. You can tell its hurting him sometimes, what can I do for him? When will it come off? Its just holding on by a tiny tiny little part. Would something like a bath make it wanna come off?

Just leave it.  If you pull it off, it might cause infection or other problem.  It will fall off when it is ready.  Normally it is 7-10 days.  Keep plenty of lubricant on it to help out.  I know what you are going through.  I went through the same thing with my son.  I wanted to pull it off, but eventually it just fell off.

You are supposed to just leave it alone.  It will come off in time all on its own.  If you pull it off your little boy will bleed and it will be painful and you will risk infection.

Our son had the plasti as well and just leave it alone..let it do it's thing..he'll be fine.

Don't worry, it will come off. if it doesn't come off in a week maybe the Doc can help it.

Both my boys had the plastibell, and it will probably fall off today if its that loose. Don't pull on it, but clean him normally with wipes and such, and it will just fall right off!
