  1. Judaism--that's definitely sure

  2. There's no reason to do it, but Muslims and Jews do because of their beliefs. Back in the day in the desert there may have been hygiene reasons but there aren't any more. Its original function was also to decrease sexual pleasure. And Mohammed suffered from a birth defect (aposthia) where his f******n was missing so he encouraged others to cut theirs off too.

  3. jews do it. and Christians do it too sometimes

  4. First, Islam has no truthfulness, it is like the Joseph Smith organization and other man-made religions.  The origin of circumcision was a sign of the covenant God made with Abraham as has been a practice of Judaism long before Mohammed ever sat down and dreamed up his menagerie of a system.

  5. yahood !

  6. Christians DO NOT circumcise their boys (at least not for religious reasons). Circumcision was only manditory for Jews as a sign of the covenant. Gentiles were never commanded to be circumcised. In the New Testiment of the bible it is said that circumcision doesn't matter, it's what's in our hearts that counts. A Christian who becomes circumcised to follow the old covenant has not put their faith in the new covenant (baptism in Christ). Many Christians around the world also consider circumcision mutilation (which could be intepreted as a sin in some denominations). The reason why some Christians get circumcised has to do with either medical reasons or cultural tradition (such as in the United States). It's not a religious practice in Christianity as it is in the Jewish culture.

Muslims only do it because they believe they are descendents of Abraham (the original Jews) and that Mohammad was circumcised himself, however the Qu'ran doesn't actually command muslims to be circumcised. They don't even do it on the 8th day after birth (which is commanded in the Torah). Practicing circumcision for any other reason at any other time in your life (other than conversion) is meaningless. So basically, it's manditory for Orthodox Jews 8 days after birth, and commonly practiced and expected by most Muslims, but not by Christians.

  7. Jews and Muslims do it.  It is mandatory for muslim boys in our country and not for muslim girls.

  8. Muslims and Jews are the only ones I know of. And yes, in the old days, circumsision was done for scientific and hygenic purposes, but now that's not an issue. Uncircumsized guys are just as clean. Yay for modern sanitation! In most developed countries, boys are only circumsized because most people consider it 'attractive'. But whatever. If you're gonna have it done to your kids, kudos on doing it for religious reasons and not superficial ones.

  9.
