Circumscision on a 4 month old q (penile adhesion)

Question

My 4 month old had a circ done, and had an adhesion. He had the repair done today. He is frantic and in a lot of pain. I don't remember him acting like this after the initial circ. The pedi surgeon prescribed some tylenol with codene, but I'm wondering how long he'll be in this awful pain for. It's been about 6 hours. Thanks!

wow, that not good to give a baby anything but regular infant Tylenol. i would call my child's doctor is i were you. some surgeons don't know anything about children

codeine for a baby!!! that is crazy. I will give him nothing but Tylenol. That should help and call your doctor. something else could be wrong. Tylenol with codeine is a narcotic.
