Cirrus Des Aigles to start off the new season with the Dubai World Cup night on 31st March   
The six-year-old French bred gelding, Cirrus Des Aigles of Even Top, out of Taille De Guepe has been entered for some major races for the Dubai World Cup night during the, 2012 Dubai World Cup Carnival.

Cirrus Des Aigles will be representing his trainer, Mme C Barande-Barbe in the Grade 1, US $5 million Dubai Duty Free Stakes raced over 1,800 metres, the US $10 million Dubai World Cup held over 2,000 metres and the Grade 1, US $5,000,000 Dubai Sheema
Classic stages over 2,410 metres.
Owned by Jean Claude Dupouy, the six-year-old last raced on 11th December, 2011, in the Grade 1, Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Cup at Sha Tin, which was raced over a mile and two furlongs. Cirrus Des Aigles finished the race fifth
on a field of ten. This was his final start for the 2011 season.
Through the eleven racing attempts that he made during the year 2011, he won five times and was placed five times as well.
Cirrus Des Aigles won the Grade 3, La Coupe on 13th June, 2011 at Longchamp then on 20th July, he won the Grade 3, Grand Prix De Vichy at Vichy. This victory was soon followed in by two more wins which
entitled, Cirrus Des Aigles for a hat-trick.
On 14th August, he won the Grade 3, Prix Gontaut-Biron-Hong Kong Jockey Club at Deauville while the third victory being the Grade 2, Lucien Barriere Grand Prix De Deauville.
The last race in which he was successful was the Grade 1, Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot on 15th October.
Thus Cirrus Des Aigles has a versatile experience when it comes to graded races which he has won a number of times varying from grade 1 to grade 3.
"He's really very well," reported Barande-Barbe. "Every morning he's a handful, he's ready for action."
"He's entered in the Dubai World Cup, the Duty Free and the Sheema Classic, and we'll make a decision nearer the time, but we really plan to go to Dubai because the horse is in cracking form," she added.
On 3rd March, the six-year-old gelding will work on the local track at Chantilly for the preparation of the forth coming challenge in the form of the Dubai World Cup night on 31st March.
