Former Liverpool forward and current QPR striker, Cisse has gone on to insist that he will show his former club no mercy, as the two teams are set to face off against each other on Wednesday.
Cisse was part of the successful http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 team that went on to win the Champions League and the FA Cup, but ended up leaving the club in 2006.
During his stay with the team, he went on to make eight two appearances and scored twenty two goals along the way.
The Frenchman has admitted that he has a soft spot for the team, but has insisted that he won’t let his feelings get in the way, as he looks to pick up all three points for QPR, in the upcoming game.
When talking about his attachment to Liverpool and just how he feels about the team, the attacker is quoted to have said: "All my trophies I won with Liverpool, it's a special club for me, but for an hour and a half, there is no mercy"
"It's my club, to be honest, but when the whistle blows that feeling will disappear.”
"It was difficult to leave because it wasn't my decision. Rafa Benitez told me 'you're not in my plans'. I thought I deserved better treatment. But that's the way it was and I have to accept it.”
"I don't feel like I have a point to prove to Liverpool because the staff has changed, and a lot of players have changed.”
Cisse has not had a massive impact on QPR ever since he moved to the club in the January transfer window, but he has admitted that he is slowly coming to terms with life at QPR.
The striker seems to be adopting well to life in the club and it won’t be long before he is back to his best.
Nonetheless, with Liverpool finally picking their form up, the upcoming game is not going to be a walk in the park for QPR. The newly promoted team is going to have to fight with all that they have if they are to take anything away from the Reds.
