Citibank ATMs Costa Rica?

Are there any citibank ATMS in costa rica? That would probably be the best rate exchange because I have citibank.

There are no american bank ATMs in Costa Rica.

You can probably use your ATM to withdrawl cash but be aware that many ATMs only accept cards on a certain network

If you use your ATM card from US in Costa Rica your US bank is going to charge you a very hi fee for using the card in another country. You can get charged like $45 for each transaction so you might want to stay away from using your US ATM card in another country. Ask your bank first how much are the fees. Travelers Checks might be a better way to go. There are alot of banks in CR where you can change them and also exchange currency.

If you have a Visa Card or Master Card you can use in Costa Rica. in Atms.

No problems.

But it is a charge to pay for that.
