  1. omg go to dingle!

i went there twice and i like it a lot

    thats my suggestion =)

    oh and dublin of course

    hope this helped =)

  2. Stay either south or west, don't bother with Dublin.

I think Killarney might be your best bet - the Muckross house and gardens are amazing and are quite a contrast with the untouched wild landscape surrounding it. Killarney itself is a tourist trap, but the countryside around it is definitely worth seeing. If it's your first trip to Ireland, I'd advise going with a coach tour so that you're not worried about where you're going, you can just sit back and enjoy it - weather permitting, of course.

  3. Im from Wicklow (which is just south of Dublin (40 mins from the centre by DART (train))

its really nice there also, and i recommend it.

You would fly to Dublin Airport.

To visit, there is the sugarloaf (wicklow mountains). Theres two actually - the great sugarloaf and the mini sugarloaf

However, theres not much to do there unless you like hiking!

Also, in Wicklow, you could visit Powerscourt Gardens or Powerscourt Waterfall. These are in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow and VERY worth a visit on a nice day

Also, in Enniskerry (i dont know your budget ;() but the Ritz-Carlton hotel is newly opened and its incredible.

Glendalough....is a national Park is Wicklow - its huge and incredibly beautiful....theres a round tower, ancient graveyard, stone circle lots of lakes lol

There is a hotel up in Glendalough....but if you really want to save money, you could always stay in a hostel

    However!!!

If you really want to experience "old" ireland, i think you should go to the West (fly to Shannon Airport)

    ....County Clare

i have family who live in a town there called Ballyvaughan....and its absolutely beautiful

There, i think your best bet is to stay in a thatched cottage and visit the little pubs and restaraunts by the sea - theres often live music.

Theres also lots of cool scenic things there too.

The burren (take a look at the Dolmens, theyre incredible!), the Ailwee caves, The cliffs of Moher.

Theres also a "birds of Prey" sanctuary near the Burren - worth a visit.

In Lisdoonvarna (Clare) i think, theres a nice aquarium and if you want to do some shopping you can go to Ennis.

The people are SO friendly there and so proud of the County- the accents are crazy too lol.

i defo think you should go for a thatched cottage in Clare.....theyre self-catering....and much more memorable than a B&B or hotel!

If you want a really cheap holiday, Ireland certainly isnt your ideal destination.....but it is well worth it

On the other hand, in comparison to most places in Ireland (such as Dublin), the west is a lot cheaper.

    Have a great trip

    xx

  4. Well Im from the east coast of Ireland, and personally speaking you really couldnt get a nicer place than Co Mayo , or Galway!! actually anywhere over in the west of Ireland is lovely........Ive always said that if I ever won the lotto, thats where I`d set up home, most places over there are lovely, and the people are too.Hope you have a nice hol, n if you do come here I know you`ll enjoy it :)

    Take care

    n Failte" !!! :)

  5. depends if your looking for nice landscape go to galway and into the aran islands but for more of a city feel go to dublin theres many things to do there but galway is much more pretty but it also has a city too just a bit smaller than dublin

  6. hi you
