  1. I think the fact that there are so many Australians just like the t**t Stocksal (above) is a good reason not to visit the place.

Many Australians are so blindly in love with themselves and their country they have a huge chip on their shoulder and can't tolerate anyone even questioning them.

Careful what you say when you're over there. They are not known for their tolerance of foreigners...

  2. Dont mean to be rude,,but what a stupid bloody question,,what is worth visiting..........everything is worth visiting,,everything is our culture and interesting,,if you want to be entertained 24/7,,stay home and play your playstation. we love our country !

  3. gold coast. frasier island. all the east coast. plus darwin and mining towns. the outback here is amazing. something u'll never forget. i love the outback here.

  4. be sure to go to sydney if u can and clime over the bridge...i visited sydney one time but was sick the whole time laying in the hotel room ...i was sooo mad...that was when i lived in perth so make sure to go there....very pleasant place with nice people

  5. If you love culture and Nature, then I also suggest going to Darwin and seeing Kakadu and you will love the night time markets they have up there, with lots of different foods, stalls and abit of entertainment while watching the huge Darwin sun come down on the horizon.

  6. Visit Tasmania - see Cradle Mountain which is bustling with wildlife and scenery including Tasmanian devils, and Port Arthur which is the large ruins of an old convict penal settlement and is really eerie and fascinating.

Other great places are Kangaroo Island in SA, Broome in WA, Canberra is weird but interesting, beach towns along the NSW coast, Port Douglas/Cairns, Byron Bay for alternative culture, Sydney of course, also Melbourne and Perth, Uluru, Kakadu, houseboat on the Murray River if the drought breaks.

    Hope this helps.

  7. I would suggest just go all along the east coast of Aus. everything is nice there. also if you want to go outback queensland there is a really awsum place called Lawn Hill National park. Its really pretty. its like this huge gorge thing and its out in the middle of nowhere where absolutly nothing grows then u get there and there are palm trees and everything. Its like those oasis's in the deserts. lol. Its fed by a spring. U do need a four wheel drive to get there though and if it rains you can get trapped there for a week or so untill it drys out. worth the risk....not that it actually rains much there. there is also a river there called gregory river. Its really pretty. beautiful clear water with pebbles on the bottom and palm trees all around. While i was there someone found a purple amethsist. anyways, the east coast is the best place.

  8. Hi I visited the east coast last November. Started in Sydney and went all the way up to cairns. I'd say you must visit Frasier Island, and go sailing and scuba diving in the Whitsunday Islands. Everyone will tell you to visit these places as they are the thing to do on the east coast but a must visit is the rainforests north of cairns in Cape Tribulation and also a place called Jungaburra west of Cairns( I saw a platypus!!) there are some beautiful things to see round there waterfalls, freshwater lakes and some amazing trees and forests. Bryon Bay is a nice place to visit, take a walk up to the light house and in Noosa you can see Koalas in the wild. I loved Steve Irwins zoo just north of Brisbane but of course seeing the animals in the wild is much more exciting. I regret not visiting the Blue Mountains so try and visit them.

    Have a great time!!
