  1. Go to an encyclopedia article and get a broad view of the subject

Next sleep on this--let your subconscious perk on it overnight

The next morning write your own essay based on this information

Now go back through it juicing it up with citations and soon you will have what you need

  2. Well, I'm not sure about what your teachers would say. My teachers did not care if we used a lot of quotes and in text citations. Also, if the same information is covered in multiple sources, it is said to be common knowledge and we did not have to quote that.  I hope this helps...Good luck!!

  3. Every fact, detail, statistic must be cited.  While it will appear that your paper is nothing but citations, you must give credit to each and every piece of information.  Most students write their papers in paragraphs reflecting this concept, and so, some paragraphs will have two or three citations.  Most paragraphs will be a single idea taken from a single source so the citation will appear for the entire paragraph.  It is not unusual to have 100 citations for a 20-page paper.

  4. if anything in your paper in from an outside source it neds to be cited. in text citations are ok. but u should also make a bibliography to prove where u got the info.
