  1. Poland is one of the 12 nations of the present day European Union that requires visas for their citizens to enter the United States.  The EU is pressuring the U.S. to allow all of its' member states to be granted visa-free access to the U.S., since all their member states grant U.S. citizens the right to travel to their nations without the need of a visa. The Visa Waiver Program will not be terminated as someone claimed. Instead, new members will all have to have biometric passports, have a visa refusal rate less than 3% (there is a move to make the rate less than 10%), and they will all have to co-operate with the U.S. in the war against terrorism. So far Poland is the only eligible nation to be added, however it is highly unlikely that they will be added this year. The move is to add 5 new EU members to the program on a test basis and then allow another 5, and then eventually 2 (Romania & Bulgaria) after they meet all requirements for the program.

For now Polish citizens do need visas until further notice.

  2. If you are a citizen of Poland you need a valid passport and a valid visa.  Poland is not a member of the visa waiver program.

In the future the visa waiver program will no longer exist and everyone that wants to enter the U.S. will need a valid passport and a valid visa.

  3. Poland does need visa to enter the USA

  4. Poland is not one of the countries included in the visa waiver program.**
