Citizenship and 90 days prior?

I know my questions are dumb but I think I made a terrible mistake. I sent my application for naturalization today Saturday, that's 91 days prior to my residence date, Do they start counting the submission of documents from the date you sent the papers through mail or the moment they receive them and stamp them? Because if they receive them on Monday or Tuesday I'll be clear since my 90 day mark is tomorrow Sunday. Also, what happens if they decide I sent it too early?, will they send my application back?, what happens to my check?, Thank you so much. I know I am a loser, I am completely demoralized so any words of advice will be appreciated.

you are fine. its just one day so they wont do anything. after that you will get something saying that they received it and then you will get the thing for the fingerprints. its kind of slow though.

They start counting days from your green card approval date. And the date you signed on your form, because that's when it was filed.

I do hope that they will be forgiving for just 1 day. Good luck!
