  1. The United States don`t care. If you are European, no problem! But most of the Asian countries don`t allow dual citizenship....

  2. USA allows dual citizenship.  It depends on if your home country allows dual citizenship or not.

Here is a list of countries and if they allow dual or not.

  3. That is up to you.

  4. As other people have stated, the US allows dual citizenship but your home country may not allow it.

If you're from India, for example, gaining US citizenship constitutes immediate and automatic renunciation of your Indian citizenship.

The rule depends on the country, so if you posted what country you're from, we could tell you what to expect.

  5. There is such a thing as dual citizenship, but why do that. Most people just loose the citizenship from the country they were born in.

  6. Some Countries allow this not all!

  7. The US doesn't care if you're a citizen of another country as well as a citizen of the US.

Your home country might not allow dual citizenship, and may have laws that state that when you accept citizenship of another nation, you lose your citizenship to your home country.

  8. I depend solely on legislation of country you are coming to USA from. Some countries allow dual citizenship, others don't. Ways of becoming a citizen vary from country to country.
