  1. if your uncle is older than 65, or if he is mental retarder, or has a medical condicion for what he can not learn english,  then he can take the test in spanish

  2. The many answers above my answer to you are correct.

In order to be granted citizenship of USA, one must speak the language of the country you want to be born into. Your uncle can only past the citizenship exam if he can comprehend English.

It will be smarter and cheaper in the end to hire a tutor to teach your lazy uncle to learn the language of the country that will put money in his bank account.  I have personally hired many illegals Mexicans in  downtown Seattle.  They all spoke English.

Why are you going to bat for your lazy uncle who expects America to grant him his laziness.  Forget him, focus on your own life.

As of 02-14-2006, on Valentine's day, I became a French Speaking American.  I became an American in Tukwila, Wa, home of Homeland Security.  I spent a lot of money studying the language of the USA and I even took a College course so I could learn about obtaining my citizenship.

  3. I demand to be served in Spanish

    I am Mexican- Armenian

  5. they don't give it in spanish. it's always in english...you could hire a translator if your uncle really needs it. they might have those..they can read the questions to your uncle..

    hope this helps!

  6. nah i think u gotta take it in english.

  7. NO

  8. Do you want the English test, the civic test or both in Spanish? I don't think they give the English test in Spanish.

  9. Since your uncle wants to be a U.S. citizen, he should at least understand english. I think English language is one of the requirements to be a U.S. Citizen.
