  1. The fuel pressure sensor is mounted vertically to the bottom of the fuel rail, (this is located halfway down the front of the engine, right against the metal of the engine tucked underneath all the other gubbins they attach these days, and has 5 metal fuel pipes attached to it, one from the pump and four to the injectors.)  it has a 3-pin red electrical connector on it, and if you disconnect the sensor the car should run and the fault should vanish as the ecu then uses default pressure values. Do this to confirm that the pressure sensor is at fault. I believe a new sensor may be around £100 but i am not too sure.

Be sure it is the sensor before you replace it though. As a low fuel pressure would cause a pressure sensor fault, but it could also be caused by a faulty low pressure pump not supplying fuel, or a faulty high pressure pump not supplying sufficient pressure to the injectors, or a leaking injector constantly leaking pressure away from the rail faster than the high pressure pump can build it up.

So make sure the sensor is actually faulty first!
