  1. http://www.parkers.co.uk/vans/reviews/Re...

Plenty quick enough for a van, expect it to push 30mpg +

  2. why not try vegetable oil, its cheaper, and does not harm the engine in anyway, i have a rover 200 td and run my car on vegetable oil,i wouldn'tever go back to diesel now i have tryed vo, my car feels more responsive and is alot more quite, i mix white spirits in with the vo 3ml to every 100ml of vo, this thins the vo down, you must mix this in with the vo if your gonna run your motor on 100% vo or you will try so start your motor up on a cold morning and realise the oil has thicking up in the tank and carnt start, otherwise you can just mix 50% diesel 50% vo, i get my vo from makro, i buy it in bulk that way you get more for your money, i bought two 20 liter drums today £17.75 each costing me £35.50 ( just under 89p per liter) better than paying £1.19 for diesel.

have a look at www.youtube.com and type in top gear vegetale oil, see for yourself it works a treat.

  3. It should be good for about 90 mph. Consumption will be about 25 mpg when travelling at 80 mph. Drop your speed to the national speed limit and you will do 30 mpg. The subject of bio diesel is not straightforward. You need to check if the vehicle is actually designed to use that fuel, it should be marked on the filler flap or in the vehicle handbook. My own experience with this fuel is not good. After filling 4 times my car would not "pull" , the fuel had clogged up the fuel filter. I replaced this for a cost of £16, therefore, I reckon that cancelled out the saving on the fuel.
