  1. As the other postee suggested Russell Square area is not a bad option. There are a couple of hotel in that area that do not cost an arm and a leg. One that springs to mind is the Imperial but there are others.

Why not use a venue finding agency? Tell them your budget and they will find you somewhere within your price range. No cost to you because they get a commission from the venue if a booking is placed. I can recommend Venuehunt, based in Salisbury, as I have used then on a professional level for years.

  2. For basic standards, any of the travelodges or premier travelinns. Recently stayed with our daughters at the Travellodge Covent Garden - was really quiet and very well situated for walking most places.

    Hope that helps.

  3. if ur on a budget go to an east end hotel!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. the "St Giles hotel" in Bedford Ave (nr russell Sq) is very

popular with Irish people and it is pretty central

  5. Try a let's go weekend of 2 nights B&B and lunch or dinner. The Tavistock is under £100 each for the weekend and the County is even cheaper if you don't mind a shared bathroom.

You can stay a 3rd night for about £50 on this deal.

    Phone for a booking

  6. This site is good for cheap hotels in London.

  7. Russell Square. Nice and central, although anywhere in london you really are not going to get cheap hotels that are good quality. Look on last minute.com, for deals

  8. yep its the same old dilemma, the nearer to central London you go for the attractions the more you pay. Russell Square is very popular for being just out of the very centre but still within walking distance to the night life. Take a look here:

also look at the base2stay, its very highly rated but at reasonable prices. Opposite side of central London to Russell square.

  9. The Hyde Park area is great so is Piccadilly. Take a look on Hotels.com and you'll find some really great deals all over the city.
