Manchester City officials have gone on to apologize on behalf of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez, following him holding up a banner stating: “RIP Fergie”
During Manchester City’s victory parade, Carlos Tevez was handed a board which read “RIP Fergie” at that time, the player didn’t really know what the board said, but considering that a fan gave it to him, he went on to hold it up and display it to the world.
However, with numerous pictures being taken of the player holding the sign up, a lot of talk is being focused on just what the forward did.
Some believe that Tevez held the sign up because http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson has said that City wouldn’t win the title in this life time.
Nonetheless, it seems like no one was quite aware of the board including Tevez and as a result, the City officials have gone on to issue a public apology on behalf of the forward and for any problems that his actions might have caused.
A City spokesperson said: "The creation of the tasteless material is in itself reprehensible. In accepting and brandishing it, Carlos has made a significant error of judgement.”
"The club wishes to express its sincerest apologies to Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United for any offence or distress caused."
Tevez’s personal PR team has gone on to insist that the forward had no idea what the sign said and was just holding it up, in order to please his fans. At the same time, they insisted that despite all the bad blood between Tevez and Ferguson, he would never
stoop so low, as to hold up a board which would mock the United boss in that manner.
Being a former Red Devil himself, Tevez has now gone on to win the league with Manchester City and Manchester United, a feat that not many have achieved in the past.
Nonetheless, it is still unclear what the future holds for the Argentine forward, with him yet to confirm his future aspirations.
It is now going to be a wait till the summers to see just where the forward ends up moving, or to see if he ends up staying at City.
