Manchester City thumped Westbromwich Albion 4-0 in a Premier League match on Wednesday, and closed the gap on league leaders Manchester United to just five points.
The win gave the Eastlands side an outside chance of lifting the league title this season, after their local rivals succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against Wigan Athletic on the same night.

However, in the sixth minute, the Argentine put his team in front. The striker made a great run from close to the half line and took a ferocious shot from 25 yards out, to beat the Baggies goalkeeper.
A good interplay between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 and Aguero in the 12th minute setup an opportunity for Tevez, but the 28 year old sprayed it over the goal.
Silva then penetrated through the Westbrom defence in the 21st minute, but was unable to finish the move, as his effort was held by the Baggies goalie. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Micah-Richards-c25259 came close to doubling City’s advantage close to the half hour mark.
Tevez played a ball into the path of the Englishman, who charged forward inside the box, but his effort was cleared of the line by Craig Dawson.

However, after the halftime break, City assumed control of the game. In the 53rdminute, Nasri played a through ball to Aguero, who fired the ball from inside the six yard box, to the bottom right corner of the goal.
In the 61st minute, yet another good move from Nasri resulted in the host’s third goal. The Frenchman played a pass to Aguero from the left, who crossed the ball inside the penalty box for Tevez and the Argentine nudged the ball into the top left
corner of the goal.
Silva then provided the icing on the cake by grabbing the fourth goal for his side, only three minutes later, as he chipped the ball over the charging Foster to complete an emphatic win.
