Manchester City and West Ham United have gone on to enquire about the availability of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royston-Drenthe-c31824.
The player’s agent went on to reveal that the two Premier League clubs have gone on to ask about the Dutchman, as the player is currently without a contract, after seeing out his five year contract with Real Madrid.
Last season, the versatile player went on to spend a loan spell with Everton and he seemed to be doing rather well for the club.
However, it was later rumoured that he had some problems with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes and hence the manager opted to exclude him from the team later on in the season.
With the way he was treated in the league and given the fact that he isn’t regarded to be one of the best in the business, his agent is rather surprised by the fact that the two Premier League clubs have actually gone on to ask about his availability.
"We didn't expect this either, but they asked me about his numbers, how much he would cost salary-wise. There are also clubs from the Serie A and Turkish clubs interested and also Dinamo Kiev"
The agent then went on to add:  "We have no complaints about the interest, but the most important thing is that Royston gets back on the pitch again. He prefers playing for a club in the Champions League, so City, Kiev and the Turkish big clubs have his
favour at this moment."
The player went on to join Madrid in 2007, following some rather impressive performances in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753.
He kicked off his career with the team with a bang and even went on to score from some forty yards out on his debut for the club.
Later on, he seemed to fall down the pecking order and was loaned out to Hercules and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019.
Nonetheless, with the two Premier league teams now looking to land him, it is safe to assume that he is set to be on his way to the English league once again.
It is now going to be a wait to see just which one of the two actually step up their interest in the player and go on and sign him on a permanent basis.
