Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799, since they have other priorities at the moment.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603’s De Rossi had been on City’s radar for quite some time now, and with the way things have been going for the player, it was believed that City might look to make a move for him in the January transfer window.
At the same time, Sneijder seems to be certain to be on his way out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, since his future has become  a massive doubt at the Italian club.
When talking about making a move for the two players, the Manchester City boss is reported to have said: "We tried to get De Rossi last summer but didn't succeed and now we're not interested"
"At the moment we don't need De Rossi, I think he'll stay at Roma."
Mancini then went on to talk about Sneijder, who has been one of the best midfielders in Europe for a number of seasons now.
Despite the Dutch international being as good as he is, Mancini feels that City have far too many players who play in a similar role and manner to the midfielder, which is why he would opt not to try and bring him to the Etihad Stadium.
"Sneijder is a very good player but we have two players in [Samir] Nasri and [David] Silva who have the same skills as Sneijder," he added. "So Sneijder can't be helpful for us."
Even though Mancini has denied wanting to make a move for these two midfielders, the manager is bound to try and bring in a player or two in January. This is due to the fact that the team aren’t playing to the level that they are capable of performing at,
and because the team really need to step up to the plate, given that Manchester United are six points ahead of them.
At the same time, a number of faces could be on their way out of the City squad, in order to create space for the new players to come in.
