City of Austin Lifeguarding?

Does anyone know what the requirements are to take the test to be a lifeguard in the city of Austin, Texas: I know that you have to swim 300 yards, but how heavy is the brick that you have to pick up? And is there anything else you have to do? I'm nervous :(

i'm not sure how heavy the brick is.

also, you need to know how to tread water, but i'm not sure how long.
