City of Bones??? HELP!?

Can anyone give me a good summary of this book. I've got a test on it tomorrow, and I haven't been able to read it yet. My friend is helping me but I don't understand him very well. Thank you very much, and I appreciate all ur help :)

Why haven't you been able to read it? Too many big words? The point of homework is to learn, and the point of reading literature is to expand your mind. I suggest trying both approaches...
