Manchester City have gone on to place an outrageous price on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Micah-Richards-c25259 head, after it was believed that Real Madrid were looking to make a move for the English full back.
Richards has been at City from the tender age of fourteen, following his move from Oldham. At the same time, there is a clause in his contract which states that Oldham will receive twenty percent of his transfer fee, if he is to ever leave the Manchester
based club.
In the past, City have tried to pay Oldham a compensation to overcome this clause, but so far there hasn’t been much progress in regards to this. As a result, the clause in the contract still stands.
Over the course of the last few days, there have been a number of rumours floating about, which claim that Real Madrid are looking to make a move for the defender.
The Spanish giants feel that the young City player is the ideal player to join their team and are now going to try and make a move for him.
However, the catch here, is the fact that Madrid aren’t willing to pay more than ten million pounds for his services.
On the other hand, City don’t want to let the player leave for less than twenty five million pounds. The Manchester club have placed such a high price on the defender, so that they can easily pay off Oldham the twenty percent that they need to and still
make a massive profit off of his sale.
Neither one of the clubs, or the defender is yet to comment on the situation and as a result, nothing will be confirmed or denied till then.
That being said, it is safe to assume that if Madrid come calling for Richards, the youngster is going to try and push for a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011.
Real Madrid are still considered to be one of the top clubs out there  and just about every player in the world would be honoured to play for them one day.
It is now going to be a wait to get any feedback from the parties involved, before we can assess just how this potential move might progress.
