Manchester City are renewing their interest in Swasea’s Scott Sinclair, as they look to land the player within the coming forty eight hours.
The player has been one of the stand out players for the Swans last season, and this ended up getting him noted by a number of top clubs across Europe.
However, City proved to be the team that were most interested in landing the player and went on to make a six million pound bid for him.
Swansea were believed to be looking to get another two million out of City for the player and this proved to be the reason for the deal stalling for as long as it did.
Swansea’s chairman, Huw Jenkins when talking about the extended negotiations is reported to have said: “I would have thought if they really wanted to sign Scott Sinclair they would have dealt with it a little bit better than they have.”

“It has dragged on too long and I hope one way or another it will be concluded in the next couple of days. What has been put out about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scott-Sinclair-c32675 is not true.”

“I don't want to get into a war of words with Manchester City, but I find it quite unprofessional, really.”

“I don't know who is putting these stories out, but there's nothing at all agreed with Manchester City. No deal has been agreed as yet.”
City want to bring Sinclair in to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international went on to join Sunderland for ten million pounds, with that fee expected to rise to fifteen million pounds based on performances.
Not only did City seem to make a massive profit off of his sale, but given the fact that Sinclair would be more determined to perform for City, as he wishes to achieve some glory with the club.
It is now going to be a nail biting wait till the end of the transfer window of Friday, as we wait to find out if the player ends up making the move to the Etihad or not.
