Manchester are looking to temp http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276 into moving to Manchester City in the January transfer window, as they are willing to pay over the top to sign him.
It was previously believed that Chelsea were looking to strike up a deal with Atletico, which would see the goal scoring machine come to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, but it seems like City aren’t looking to make things very easy for the
Blues.
Despite the interest from these Premier League sides, Falcao’s father has gone on to insist that his son is more inclined to one day playing for Real Madrid, as it has been a lifelong dream of his to play for the Spanish giants.
When talking about his son’s desires, Radamel Garcia King is reported to have said: "His dream is to one day play for Real Madrid. Always, since childhood, he has wanted to play there."
Even though his father has suggested that he would like to play for Madrid, the striker has insisted that his primary focus is to win big with Atletico Madrid and then looking to helping Colombia secure a spot in the FIFA World Cup 2012.
"So that everybody is clear: My dream is to keep on winning things with Atletico Madrid and help http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Colombia-c2873 to get a place in World Cup 2014."
City are looking to pay the forty seven million pounds, which have been listed down as the player’s buyout clause to sign him.
The fee might have been a little over the top for most clubs, but given the financial status that City have, they might not have many problems paying that fee.
Falcao’s father reluctantly did admit that a move to the Premier League could be on the cards for the striker, should Madrid fail to follow up on the interest that the player has to play for them.
When talking about the possibility of Falcao playing for a Premier League team, Falcao’s dad is reported to have added: "Other international football teams like Manchester City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 have been interested in him. If he cannot go to Madrid, then he would
go to English football"
