Manchester City have been told to stay away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 have no intention of letting the player leave just yet.
The Italian midfielder has seen himself fall down the pecking order at Roma, given the fact that the team now deploy a formation that doesn’t require him to start every game for them.
Given the way things were going for the player, it was believed that De Rossi wasn’t very happy with the changes that were made around at the club.
At the same time, looking at how City had been in the hunt for the player for quite some time, it seemed like now would be the ideal time for the Manchester based club to move in and try and make a move for the player.
When talking about the future of De Rossi at Roma, Palotta is quoted to have said: "We have no intention of selling him. We’re not in touch with any other clubs and we have not received any offers. It’s all speculation"
Director general http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Baldini also went on to admit that it was hilarious to read about all the rumours linking the midfielder with a move away from the team, as he went on to admit: "The president enjoyed himself this morning by reading about how many
clubs we had sold De Rossi to. As I’ve always said, there is no intention of selling him”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has already gone on to insist that he isn’t interested in bringing in a playmaker to his side, given how the team is over flowing with players who can play in that position.
However, even though the City boss suggested that he doesn’t have any interest left in signing De Rossi, he might reconsider his stance on the situation should the player be up for a transfer.
Based on how much the manager likes him, he might just make a move for him, in order to land the player who has almost always been impossible for him to sign.
It is now a wait to see just what the future holds in store for De Rossi and Manchester City.
