Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has insisted that his side will fight till the last day of the season and won’t give up on their title hopes just yet.
Both Manchester City and Manchester Untied went on to take part in their Premier League games on Sunday.
Going into the games, City were on top of the Premier League table with two points keeping them ahead of Manchester United.
However, following City’s loss to Swansea and with United coming out on top against West Brom, the Red Devils went on to pick up a one point lead over their rivals.
Despite this shift in the title race, Mancini is adamant over the fact that his side can go on and pick up the Premier League trophy at the end of the season, should they continue to push United all the way till the end of the season.
When talking about the weekends results and how they are going to impact the team’s season, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 is quoted to have said: "It's not important what United did"
"We will fight against them until the end. We have 10 games to finish the championship and every week it can change.”
"It's important we remain together. It's better to be at the top but it doesn't change anything.
"This championship is very long and there is time to go. We won't change our target.
"This was not a critical game. The championship will be decided three games from the end of the season.”
Despite his side trailing United, the manager is confident that the two teams will swap positions on more than just one occasion before the season comes to an end and whatever team can go on and perform consistently is going to end up winning the Premier
League crown.
The City boss then added: "We've been at the top for six months. We might not be at the top now but United had an easy game. We are just one point behind.”
It is now going to be an interesting wait till the end of the season, to see just how the two teams battle it out to claim the title of being the Champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
