Cityscape may compete in the Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp after a terrific victory at the Meydan
With a fabulous victory secured in the Dubai Duty Free Sponsored By Dubai Duty Free at Meydan on 31st March, 2012, Cityscape made his connections, trainer Roger Charlton and owner K. Abdulla, beam with pride.

Saddled by jockey, James Doyle, he tracked the leaders early in the race and comfortably crossed the wire first, 4 ¼ lengths ahead of Mutahadee.
The six-year-old son of Selkirk, out of mare Tantina, raced in many international events. Charlton is pleased with his form.

He stated:
“He's developed into a really good seasoned traveller," adding, “He takes it all well - he eats well, sleeps well."
His future is not certain, but his next stop is likely to be the Group 1 Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp on 27th May, 2012.

However, this is not for certain as Charlton told the press:
"There are lots of options," he further explained that "Racing over ten furlongs is definitely worth trying, it's just a question of where and what we do. People say he wants soft ground, but he's a good mover and I wouldn't run him on undulating tracks
like Newmarket or Goodwood. The Prix d'Ispahan will be considered."
The runner has had a successful racing career with many victories under his belt.

He raced as a favourite with odds of 2 to 5 in the Woodies DIY Supporting Irish Autism Solonaway Stakes (Group 3) at Curragh, on 11th September, 2011, under Steve Drowne.

Under his guidance, he excelled on the track as he tracked the leaders, led into the final furlong and broke through the wire first, where he left, Wild Wind, 2 ½ lengths behind.
He defeated, Sommerabend, by 2 lengths in the Prix Perth (Group 3) (3yo+) at Saint-Cloud on 30th October, 2011. He raced on the outer side, gaining the lead in the final two furlongs.
With many magnificent victories, there are definitely more to come for Cityscape. His trainer’s hard work takes full form on the track as he delivers brilliant performances. This runner can adapt to different conditions and is likely to have a bright
future.
