where i can find a civil engineer job in England? who knows any website please

what do you think i will get per year ( i just got my master degree this year )

will be great to inform me before i move to England form Lithuania

  1. Hi i don't want to put you off of England but there is a big building recession over here at this time and most companies have stopped building anything and laying of workers.


  2. The poster above me. Just because there is a "building recession" here (I haven't even noticed one anyway), there will still always be demand for civil engineers. Heck, some companies are 100% guaranteed to employ you because of the lack of civil engineers. Civil engineers do not always work on building designs.

    I seriously suggest you do some research and backup your evidence before giving out such false statements.

    Try heading over to the ICE website http://www.ice.org.uk/contact/index.asp Try to contact someone who will be able to answer your question.

    Since you just got your degree, you are looking at an average salary of £20,000 until you have attained full chartership, which usually takes 3-4 years. After full chartership, your salary ranges, depending on your position but usuall hovers around the £40,000 mark.

  3. There is a slump in building market in England.

    What do you specialize in?

    If I was you, I look to Middle East perhaps.
