people in a state of nature enjoy natural liberty, and when they bin themselves together into a body politic, they enjoy civil liberty. what are the differences

  1. Natural liberties are freedoms we are born with, endowed by our Creator. Civil liberties are privileges granted by a government. Big difference. The first is constant, the second ever changing. And while the body politic becomes the state in natural law, it is not the same as the government State. In the former, you pledge allegiance to the state in return for protection and you receive that protection – neighbor helping neighbor. In the later, the government of the State demands your allegiance but guarantees you no protection. So the question becomes, do you live in a legitimate state of We the People or are you a slave to a bunch of lawyers who've hijacked the government for their own evil purposes. I suggest, at this time, only the later exists though the propaganda would have your believe otherwise.


  2. Civil liberties are freedoms that protect the individual from government to a certain extent. Civil liberties set limits for government so that it cannot abuse its power and interfere with the lives of its citizens.
