  1. There are only two rules of war. Rule 1: People die. Rule 2: You cannot change Rule 1. Vietnamization was a program to have the Vietnamese take increasingly more responsibility and fight the war allowing for a draw down of US troops. Guerrilla warfare is where people may have been ordinary citizens working at any job during the day and surrepticiously working to kill their foes by night. Saturation bombing was usede to rid the guerillas from a partticular area and had limited effect. Sniper fire is one of th emost effective forms or terror fighting.

Right or wrong the US was involved in trying to rid the country of communism. History will bear out that our cause was noble.

  2. 3) Saturation bombing, of course. More bombs were dropped on Vietnam than all of WWII, excluding the A-bombs.

Most of the heavy bombing was done in Northern Vietnam (above the 17th parallel, especially above the 20th) but a fair amount was done in Southern Vietnam as well, to disrupt the supply lines from North to South.

  3. saturation bombing - but the US did not bomb South Vietnamese roads and bridges.  Tell your teacher she is a doped up hippie.
