What do u think are the most imp. characteristics of a civilization...and why??

If you study those 3 aspects of a civilization then you will gain a good general understanding of how they functioned and lived their daily lives.

It's system of justice and the way it caters for the disadvantaged. How well does a civilisation live up to the utalitarian ideal of the most good for the most people? These two yardsticks are good indicators of the utalitarian ideal.
