I bought a used Janome that had seen hardly any usage. There is a clacking noise coming from the bobbin area. I have checked to be sure the bobbin holder is in correctly. When you are stitching the bobbin appears to be moving up and down. I thought maybe the bobbins the seller sent were the wrong ones but my sister has a Janome so I borrowed one of her bobbins to try out and the machine did the same thing.

Janome myexcel 18w also makes a clacking noise in the bobbin holder area. The holder is in correctly and I have cleaned everything.
