  1. You will tell them your final destination is Atlanta and your bags will be in Atlanta when you arrive at the bag claim.  If you are not changing airlines it will make it fine.  The carrier would not book you on flights that the bags can't keep up with.  New federal regulations mandate that the bags and passengers must match up or the flight can't leave.  You AND your bags must both be on board for the flight to leave.

  2. haha... no you dont need to recheck your bags as long as you are in the same country..... Like if you live in LA and you go to Montana, then you go to London, then to Russia, you would only need to recheck your bags in London, because LA and montana are in the same country? do u get it?

I dont know where quad city is... but... e-mail me if you are confused,lol..I am 16 and am going to have to do this next month so thats how I know..

  3. Since you're staying in the U.S. and you're flying with the same airline both times, your bags will be checked straight through to Atlanta.

55 minutes should be enough time for you to get to your next plane, but your luggage might not make it on your plane (they'll stick it on the next one out to Atlanta in that situation). If that happens, ask a uniformed employee where to go to report your baggage as delayed. Be sure to know the address of your destination in Atlanta (even if it's a hotel) if it's unfamiliar to you - once your bags arrive at the airport, they'll be delivered to you.

  4. yes, your luggage will go straight to Atlanta. 55 minutes will be enough for you but it might not be enought time for your luggage,so pack a few things in a carry on
