Clairvoyance?

Hello, i'd like to ask some questions?

How does one know when one is clairvoyant or has psychic powers?

Do these gifts run in the family?

Can you control them?

And who should you go to for advice and training?

Sometimes they run in the family but they don't have to, as everyone has the ability, it just has to be tapped into.

Yes you can control them with practice and shielding and grounding techniques are helpful too.

2. It has been said it does, I have no first-hand experience.

3. Usually not. A vision occurs, then you decide to act on it or not.

First let us start by defining clairvoyance from the trained scientist that study this phenomena.

"CLAIRVOYANCE

Paranormal acquisition of information concerning an object or contemporary physical event; in contrast to telepathy, the information is assumed to derive directly from an external physical source (such as a concealed photograph), and not from the mind of another person; one particular form of extrasensory perception, it is not to be confused with the vulgar interpretation of “clairvoyance” as meaning “knowledge of the future” (for which see Precognition)."

Second, I have provided a link below that will take you to some online test/games where you can try out your psi abilities.

Third, the scientific evidence from experiments that meet both the statistical significance and methodology standards for every branch of science outside of parapsychology suggest that psi abilities are normal human abilities that are normally distributed in the general population. So you have psi abilities like everyone else. However, just like having the ability to learn to play the piano will not make you the next Mozart some people will have more developed ability and more talent for psi abilities than others. I have provided links below.

Fourth, while many people believe and offer anecdotal

evidence of psi being common in families I do not know if this has been studied in a scientific manner.

Fifth, you control psi abilities by setting up conditions that will allow the information to come through more clearly and be less confused with normal sensory information (see the Ganzfeld and Remote Viewing Links). Also some evidence suggest that knowing how to meditate (calming the mind) helps.

Sixth, to the best of my knowledge no psi training program has been scientifically evaluated.

However, I would suggest seeking information from qualified people that work in the field of parapsychology. Just like you would go to a medical doctor and not a history professor for medical problems. I have included a link to the Parapsychological Association (the professional scientific  association for those working in parapsychology) below and I would suggest you start there.

Many skeptics in this section are thumbs downing my answer so that actual information and evidence that contradict their personal beliefs do not readily appear for people seeking real answers to read. I hope someone will be polite enough to point you to this answer when it is hidden by the Priesthood of YA Skeptics.

1. It's hard to know. Most people just want to think that they are and don't do any real studies to find out. Even some scientists have tried to study this and their results aren't very convincing. You want to test yourself if you want to know, and don't cheat.

2. Nobody knows because nobody has shown they have psychic powers. I mean a lot of people claim they do, but people can claim anything.

1. Depends on a person, there is so many ways that it can "manifest" from dreams to the flash visions and feelings.

2. Yes it does usually, but not necessary. In my example my grandmother was able to do that, now I can but for some reasons my mum cant and I got 3 brothers and a sister.. non of them ever even showed the signs of it.

3. Not really, still it work in its own way. Sometimes it does sometimes not.. same as sometimes it can help u in life and sometimes can “f..p” thing up… a

Well that is interesting.. re to advise.. if you can find some one real.. and not a boolshiter that is the firt thing, as most of them is fake.. for 10 years of my practice I met only 4 people out of hundreds “psychics” that I met and had a chance to talk with hope to discuss and share experience. The other advise if u cant find one.. don’t waist your time for workshops developing psychic powwrs and other crap… most of the books also just  a wais and assumptions.. The best thing is Look for one real clairvoyant  and  listen to yourself, pay more attention to your experiences.

Last and the most important thing.. GOOD LUCK! AND HOPEFULY THE GIFT WILL BRING YOU HAPPIMES.. AND YOU WILL USE IT WISLY… always remember that you cant leave by it.. you can always make mistake.. misinterpret things or “lie” to yourself to your own advantage.. THE LINE is very thin… but it is possible to not cross it. BE RESPONSOBLE for everything you say if you will be giving readings and advises to people with your gift.  AND BE HONNEST TO YOURSELF! that the hardest part =) but possible to obey!

Clairvoyance is the general delusion that you have special powers.  You can fool yourself into believing you're special, but you can't be trained to see the future, view things remotely or perform any similar supernatural feats.
