The Rossoneri midfielder has announced his retirement, and believes that the Swede deserves to wear the coveted number ten jersey for the Milan outfit.

The Rossoneri legend revealed his decision to bid farewell to the Milanello, once his contract with the Italian giants comes to a conclusion at the end of the month.
Seedorf’s departure will also mean that the coveted number 10 shirt will be up for grab, but the midfielder revealed that the jersey will go to Ibrahimovic.

The Rossoneri midfielder mentioned that it was him that went to the Swede, and offered him the opportunity to get his name on the shirt.

“The No 10 jersey will go to Ibrahimovic. I never asked for the 10, I inherited it from Manuel Rui Costa. But I’ve spoken to Ibra and told him that I would be pleased if it was passed to him – he deserves it.”

“He’s a player who has won four and a half Champions League titles. He won at Ajax, Real Madrid and two at Milan, but also a half one with Real before he went to Inter. He’s had an extraordinary career and I have great memories of him. He was someone who
was able to play in a variety of roles.”
Clarence Seedorf is expected to continue playing the game, but is yet to announce his next destination.
