Clarence Seedorf to finalize his decision to stay with AC Milan next week – Serie A Update
AC Milan director general, Ariedo Braida, has claimed that it is highly unlikely that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Clarence-Seedorf-c9275 would leave the outfit during the upcoming summer transfer window. It was reported that the attacking midfielder is considering his options for a way out, eyeing the summer transfer window as his contract with the Rossoneri ends in June.
The Diavolo Vice-President, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani, held talks with the midfielder this week and offered him a one-year extension that will run until the summers of 2012. However, the Dutch footballer refused to sign the offer as he demanded at least two more years at San Siro. Seedorf also asked for some time to think about his future and discuss it with the head coach, Massimiliano Allegri.
The director general, recently talking to the media, revealed the worth of the Dutch International for the current Serie A Champions and said:

It is expected that Seedorf will be meeting Galliani with a final decision next week and it will be a crucial time period for both the team and the player. Seedorf is amongst the high profile stars of AC Milan, whose futures are at stake as the outfit is not finalizing any decision about their stay at San Siro.
AC Milan have won the Scudetto this term after a drought of almost 7 years and that too with mentionable contributions from veteran players. Now the club aims to take a shot at the UEFA Champions League title next season and the Rossoneri are also keen to defend their Italian top flight title.
