Question:

Clarification on YuGiOh rules...?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

I just got back to playing Yu-Gi-Oh. Me and my bro are not sure about these rules, so we just need a little help.

Would a monster that has been tributed be considered destroyed?

AND

Can you equip an equip card to a face-down monster?

Anyone who has experience with the card game, please help. Thanks! (Oh, and if you can find it on the internet, please provide the links, just for legitimacy).

  1. 1. Yes

    2. No, but the equip spell/magic could say otherwise

  2. yeah and nope

  3. ok a tributes monster is not considered destroyed and with the equip card thing unless they say other wise no because there's no way of knowing if its a warrior if the card says its a warrior type because its face down that's just an example though like axe of despair couldn't be equipped either although as a hobby league duelist i have to say that i would be against using any equip cards short of 3 ekibyo drakmord mage power and united we stand. so the answers  are no and no unless specified

  4. no,no

  5. will, the questions are basic so its easy to answer.

the tribute is just like a offer, so its a cost, and the monster is not destroyed, but it is send to the grave.

So let's say, card trooper, if you tribute it, then you don't get to draw a card.

and NO, you can't equip card to a face down unless somehow a new card is made that allow you to do so.

  6. 1. No. Tributed is not the same as destroyed. Sorry, but you can't keep resurrecting that Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys by tributing it.

    2. No. You can only if the equip card says it can be equipped to a face-down monster (which I believe none do.)

  7. Tributing is not the same as destroying, so no.

No you can't equip an equip card to a face down monster unless it says so.
