Clarification on a finance question....please help!?

R. Finley and B. Carter are partners in a successful delicatessen. The net assets of the partnership are $250,000. All partners' capital accounts are equal. E. Bailey is admitted as an equal partner with a one-third interest at $155,000.

What is the total equity as determined by E. Bailey.

I know the answer is $465,000

What I need to know is how I arrive at that answer. ie. what steps have to be done to get the right answer?
