Clarification on slope...just a 2nd set of eyes needed.?

I have never been a fan of math and I'm trying my ab. best. I want to grad early to walk with my brother.

I got 7/1. But how can the slope be only 7? Doesn't it have to move left or right as well. Or am I just freaking out.?!?!
