Clarke answers Twenty20 batting questions in Melbourne?

Michael Clarke made 32 from 26 deliveries in Australia’s Twenty20 match against Pakistan in Melbourne. He went into the match with an average of less than 20 and with some conjecture in the press as to whether he should be playing Twenty20, let alone captaining the side. Has he proved the doubters wrong – or do we need to see more of the same before he has proved himself?

Clarke can only take it one match at a time, but with only David Hussey (40 off 31 balls) doing better, Clarke surely won’t cop any flak for this performance with the bat.
